Craig Mackinlay of Breeze Creative has won a Gold Award and was voted “100 Best in Design 2012” by Graphis, the global design industry’s equivalent of the Oscars. His work will be published in the 2012 Graphis Design Annual, New York.
Graphis features work from over 22 countries including USA, Canada, Australia, Japan, France, Germany, Italy, Sweden and Norway. It is evident that Breeze Creative is the ONLY Scottish agency to have been selected and one of only a very few UK agencies.
The award-winning piece was the Bowmore 40 Years Old, beating the Glenfiddich 50 Years Old designed by WPP Group’s The Brand Union. Other big prestigious global agencies including Pentagram were among the winners.
The first issue of Graphis was published way back in 1944. It is circulated across the world, and has earned the respect of the GLOBAL art community with work selected from professionals who are the best in the business. Today, it continues to be a distinction for photographers, designers, art directors, illustrators and product designers to be included.
