Auchentoshan Range


Morrison Bowmore Distillers have once again demonstrated their skill at creating great excitement about one of Scotland’s greatest exports – whisky – with new Auchentoshan packaging and superb new releases from one of their three distilleries.

Craig Mackinlay of Breeze Creative has radically redesigned the Auchentoshan range which was in its previous guise for around 12 years. The new packaging plus the additional expressions have also been developed with a view to inspiring a new and slightly younger audience of emerging malt consumers whilst giving existing connoisseurs an extended taste experience.

The whisky itself is delicate on the palate with a fresh zesty profile – a lighter whisky experience altogether than one traditionally associates with malt. The packaging has been given a sleek, more contemporary and urban look, with its glass embellishment and embossed textured papers and boards. The pearlised packaging, unique bottle shape and use of tone will give the brand significantly increased presence in the international on and off trade.

This launch coincides with the start of a £500,000 investment to enhance the Auchentoshan Distillery Visitor Centre, currently a four star Glasgow attraction. As home to Scotland’s only triple distilled whisky, the revamped centre will be equally inspiring to whisky enthusiasts and tourists of all ages.
